Madeline was technically supposed to stay where it was safe, back on Earth or even at the home base—but, Leo dragged her into tagging along on the heroes' mission, wanting to help them out and prove they're more than capable of fighting the same battles they do. Of course, her fears of burdening the others and frustrations with her brother's impulsiveness have driven a rift between the two siblings. On the wrong path it could spell their doom, but on the right one it could lead to them unlocking their true strength.
