(I know the history, I made up this story partially.)
Rainbow's leader, Six, is retiring. A new Six is elected, and a terrorist group called the White Masks attack during Six's retirement party, causing Rainbow to almost being destroyed. A group of operators breaks off thinking the new Six can't stop the terrorists and does what's right. The remaining group fight their allies in worldwide terrorist attacks and gave birth to attackers and defenders.
