Set in the same universe as Sinners. A young jazz singer, descended from Sammie, uncovers a Covenant plot to infiltrate the Chicago music scene, using Veilwalkers to drain artists like Muddy Waters and Howlin’ Wolf. She allies with a renegade Veilwalker, a former bluesman turned immortal, to protect the city’s Sanctuaries. Expands the lore to urban settings, introduces jazz and rock as new Veilkeeper tools, and deepens the Covenant’s modern influence. Gritty neo-noir with musical spectacle and intense horror.
