The film portrays the Six and it's members as sympathetic enough that they can redeem themselves. After breaking out of the Ravencroft Institute, the Six retreat to the Savage Land, a hidden island in the comics which was an ancient preserve to surviving prehistoric species hidden in Antarctica.
