Henry Townshend lives alone in Room 302 of a decaying apartment building. His life is quiet, uneventful—until the day he realizes he can no longer leave. The door is chained from the inside, the windows won’t open, and no one outside responds to his calls for help. At first, the room feels like a prison. Then it becomes something worse.
