After marrying Princess Fiona, Shrek lives happily in his swamp. Upon returning from their honeymoon, Fiona receives a letter from her parents, who don't know she's now an ogre, inviting her and her great love to dinner so they can meet him. With great difficulty, Fiona manages to convince Shrek to visit them, accompanied by Donkey. However, problems begin when Fiona's parents discover she didn't marry the Prince, to whom she had been promised.
