Ken Watanabe portrays the Chinese Hero, whose personal and emotional conflicts bring him into contact with samurai war. The film's plot was inspired by the American Revolution and the French and Indian War. The film was the first film to reach a runtime of 6 hours. The film has Iconic moments such as the Boston Tea Party, Battle of Bunker hill and Battle of The Chesapeake bay. Shang Chi grossed a total of $1.257 Billion at the box office and received positive reviews, with praise for the acting, visuals and Zimmer's score but criticism for some of its portrayals. It was nominated for several awards, including four Academy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards, and two National Board of Review Awards.
