Keanu Reeves as Shadow the Hedgehog: A powerful Hedgehog thought to be even faster than Sonic himself. Sonic later inadvertently provokes him after he accidentally runs him over on foot. Shadow used to be Dr. Robotnik's top assassin, but after he ordered him to terrorize Green Hills, he betrayed Robotnik and is now dealing with trying to outrun him while initially hesitant to ask Sonic for help.
