Once a decorated Army officer in the Falklands War, Gilbert served on the police force in his native England during the Troubles and has come face to face with many bombings and attacks from the IRA. Emigrated to the United States to serve as head of security for the Port Authority at the WTC. Since the bombing, he recognizes that al-Qaeda will one day finish the job. Based on Rick Rescorla
