Emil Svensson is a young, feminine-looking boy from Sweden. Emil used to live a peaceful life alongside his dad Wilmer Svensson, the multi-millionaire owner of Svensson Enterprises, a pharmaceutical firm, and his mom Serah Wong, who trained Emil in the art of bajiquan, until Svensson Enterprises went bankrupt and later absorbed by rival company Orion, which let to Wilmer descending into illness, which Emil blamed on Orion. Despite his mother’s objections, Emil enters the Sentoki tournament, thinking that it is the only way to avenge his father and save his family business.
