Ren Omigoshi is a samurai who trains in the Kodai Dojo which is on a cliff side he works with the 3 other Harnessers Barry Keita the Harnesser of Chi so he can use force powers to inflict forceful power, Maria Jha the Harnesser of Spirit so she can create spirit animals and beings and finally Gui Zheng he can harness the power of Soul which makes people basically ghosts and Ren is Harnesser of Skill meaning he can you any weapon but he likes the katana most. One day, long time nemesis Don Smaahe (American Mask) arrives to steal the ancient scroll of beasts they fight but he still gets it and is going to unleash the beasts of land, sea and sky. Ren, Barry, Maria and Gui travel out to slay all the beasts for the safety of human kind while being chased by the evil tribe of ninjas called The Mōjū Clan who have been long enemies, there leader Jack Wolf.
