In an alternate frontier where the Wild West blends seamlessly with a prehistoric world, dinosaurs are as common as horses, and rugged cowboys carve out their lives atop thunder-lizard mounts. Among them is Redclaw, an Allosaurus taken from his family as a hatchling and raised to be a working beast. Across the ocean, Liang Shen, a former enforcer for a crime syndicate in the East, flees his violent past and journeys to the West in search of redemption. Hoping to build a quiet life, he instead finds a land brimming with danger, wonder, and second chances. When Liang is assigned to handle and train Redclaw at a struggling frontier outpost, the two form an unlikely bond. But peace is short-lived. A ruthless fossil baron and his gang of dino-riding mercenaries seek to seize the region’s fertile canyons—lands that also happen to include the territory where Redclaw’s long-lost family might still live. To protect their new home and reclaim the past, Liang and Redclaw must confront predators both human and prehistoric, outrun the shadows of their former lives, and rise as heroes in a world where survival favors the bold. Their journey tests loyalty, challenges identity, and ultimately reveals that family—chosen or found—is worth fighting for.
