A Detroit police officer who was brutally murdered by a gang of criminals. He was revived as a crime-fighting cyborg named RoboCop. After years of fighting crime in Detroit, he was shut down by OCP. In the year 2076, Murphy is woken up by The Safeguard to find that OCP has rebuilt the city in its image, overrun with crime and corruption.
