A brilliant self-made woman, Veronica Cale views herself as the true American success story, raising herself up from nothing. However, in her eyes, she is seen as "less" compared to Wonder Woman, which made her despise Diana due to her belief Diana didn't have to work for what she has. Even with her success in roles such as the President of Oolong Island, Veronica still loathes Wonder Woman, though she has no reasons to go after her. But any ally she makes, Veronica will easily turn on, as she did with the Doom Patrol.
