Fan Casting Thunderbolt in Return to the DC Universe

A prince of the Fifth Dimension who also is considered a djinn, Yz first appeared on Earth in Asia, connecting to the people of Bahdnisia, where he would be able to make contact with a seventh son born on the seventh month on the hour and day of seven as long as his master/partner would go "Say You!" or "Cei U!", his name backwards. The first partner Yz had was Johnny Thunder of the JSA's early roster. After Johnny suffered from Alzheimer's, Yz's pen fell into the hands of Jakeem Thunder. After bonding to Johnny on his death and guiding him to the Fifth Dimension, Thunderbolt remains a key member of the JSA with Jakeem.
