Fan Casting Static in Return to the DC Universe

The youngest child of Robert and Jean Hawkins, Virgil has always had an adept mind, being quite the genius, though he also had a sharp tongue. Being dragged into a gang war in his hometown of Dakota, Virgil managed to get away from the fighting before it was too heated, but when police tear gas hit an experimental barrel of chemicals, it created what was dubbed "The Big Bang". The gasses triggered Virgil's metagene, making him a giant electromagnetic battery. Due to his love of comics, Virgil decided to become a superhero, taking the name "Static" as he has fought solo and also with other teams, like the Teen Titans.
