Fan Casting Red X in Return to the DC Universe

Tad Ryerstad is quite obviously a product of a town like Bludhaven. Abandoned as a child, Tad was absorbed into the city's foster care system. Idolizing John Law, the original Tarantula, Tad became known as Nite-Wing, a violent vigilante. Sometime after leaving Bludhaven, Tad hooked up with a scientist named Professor Chang, who provided him with a new suit and identity. Dubbing himself Red X, Tad continued his brutal battles against "injustice" as well as usually focusing on his own interests. Of course, he will eventually run into Nightwing again...
