Fan Casting Pulse 8 in Return to the DC Universe

Like his colleagues Warmaker One, 4-D, and Flow, Captain John Wether had been tricked by General Wade Eiling into become a new metahuman fighting force, the Ultramarine Corps. In John's case, he is now linked to the Unified Field, allowing him to bend reality with his powers, being known as Pulse 8 aka the Master. He has worked as a tactician for the Ultramarine Corps primarily, but his powers can be offensive as well. With the fall of Superbia and the UMC's failure with Gorilla Grodd and Neh-Buh-Loh, the second Nebula Man, now as a new Pentagon task force, John continues to act as tactical.
