Fan Casting Oracle in Return to the DC Universe

Inspired by her parents being police officers, Barbara Gordon wanted to aspire for that. When her father Jim had discouraged her, Barbara would find another path to fight for justice, being inspired by Batman and Robin, and taking on the identity of Batgirl. However, the Joker would cut Barbara's career short when he shot her, paralyzing her. Undeterred, Barbara used her brilliant mind and took on the alias Oracle, becoming the premiere information supplier to all superheroes as well as founding the Birds of Prey. Now married to Dick Grayson, Barbara continues to bring knowledge and backup to any heroes who need it.
