Fan Casting Deadman in Return to the DC Universe

A death-defying acrobat in life, Boston Brand earned the nickname "Deadman" because of how he seemed to defy death. However, death would come for him when an assassin known as the Hook shot Boston while he was on the trapeze. After his death, Boston met Rama Kushna, a spirit from the hidden city of Nada Parbat, who had chosen him to be able to avenge his death. Over time, Boston would learn he was meant to be an aid to mortals. Though resurrected by the Entity after the Blackest Night, Deadman has rejoined death, and now is driven to do what he can.
