Imagined as an animated epic, not live action.

Description of Bouncing Boy (Chuck Taine):

Fate and unusual happenstance turned Chuck Taine into a superhero. Drinking an experimental super plastic fluid during a sports event, Chuck gained the power to take on a ball-like form and being near indestructible. Though he failed twice to try out for the Legion of Super-Heroes, Chuck would join their ranks when helping them against a villain with electricity powers, taking on the name Bouncing Boy, going on to even lead the team once, as well as marrying Duplicate Damsel. A teacher at the Legion Academy, Bouncing Boy is a good teacher to have.
