Many aliens live on Earth either in the public eye or in private. Kathy Branden is one of the latter, having come to this planet with her grandfather Cobb and several others after their worlds were destroyed by the Kroog. Settling in Hamilton County, 300 miles north of Metropolis, Kathy became one of the first friends Jon Kent had when he and his parents had lived out in the countryside, before learning about the truth. Now using her telekinetic and telepathic powers and her engineering skills, Kathy works with Jon as Beacon, helping the new Young Justice.
