Fan Casting Apollo in Return to the DC Universe

At 12, Andrew Pulaski had come out as gay to his family, causing his father to send him to his aunt, essentially disowning him. At 13, Andrew ended up abducted by a sect of Dominators hiding on Earth, who experimented on him, grafting some modified Daxamite DNA to him, making him a living solar battery like Superman, but while just as powerful, he couldn't hold solar energy as indefinitely. Taking the name Apollo to give people hope, Andrew began to fight crime from the sidelines, until he recently was recruited by the organization Stormwatch, where they believe he can do some real good.
