Three months after the destruction of Raccoon City, when Claire goes to Paris in search of her brother. When invading an Umbrella base in the city, she is captured and taken to a prison on Rockfort Island, also belonging to the company. The nightmare begins once more, when an attack on the island unleashes the virus and turns all its inhabitants into zombies. In the midst of terror, Claire asks her brother for help, who tries to rescue her by following her steps across the island.
