Japanese remake by Satoshi Kon
One of Darren Aranofvsky's great influences has been Perfect Blue. That's why I'd like to see a Japanese-style reimagining, directed by Satoshi Kon. Hiroshi is a heroin addict in his twenties who lives in Saitama, and wants to escape his addiction by entering the drug business. However, the Deus Ex Machina that seems to be his salvation will be a descent into hell, both for him and everyone around him...
