Dove Cameron as Aaliyah Rivers: A kindly and well-meaning but rebellious 17-year-old girl who suffers from clinical depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Her father had died of a heart attack right before her eyes, and she wears his flannel and plain black baseball cap. After her mother is hospitalized and her grandfather is murdered, she goes on a near-suicide mission to avenge the latter, equipping her father's gun in the process.
