In the future, boxing is humans have spring arms: combats no longer involve human beings, but rather sophisticated machines designed to fight. Charlie Kenton, a former boxer who almost achieved glory, is having a rough time as a fight promoter, so one day, after finding an old discarded spring boy, he decides to train it.
