Will, presumably an orphan, longs to be in Battleschool, to become a knight like he assumes his father was. Circumstances change and Will finds himself an Apprentice to a Ranger, the eyes and ears of the Kingdom of Araluen. After a few months he begins to love his job, finally excepting that this is what he was meant to be. Adventure after adventure come and with his master Will becomes skilled in archery. Later becoming known as the best, and well known Ranger of Araluen. Together with his friends he conquers fear and enemies. I highly suggest you read these books! They are AWESOME!!
