The Punisher 2 was supposed to follow up the original movie with Thomas Jane. However, the actor did not like the script and refused. From what I understand the villain was supposed to be Jigsaw the son of Howard Stein from the first movie. But I also added daredevil and Iron-Fist and luke cage as cameo and I recasted spacker dave
