Single father Jack Drake has been doing his best to protect Tim after the loss of Tim’s mother. He doesn’t entirely approve of Tim hanging out with danger prone Harper but allows it anyway. He and Tim have a conflict over his son’s continued investigations into Batman and The Psycho Pirate Case. Later on he gets a knock on his door and instead of his son he finds Captain Boomerang waiting for him. The two struggle and Tim arrives in time to join the fight but too late is he to stop Boomerang from stabbing his father in the heart.
