Fan Casting Carl in Prehistoric Age

Unlike others of his kind, Carl was a solitary dinosaur, even more so with his tough and indifferent personality towards other creatures. This would prove to be the result of the loss of his wife and child, which he blamed himself and his former flock for the tragic event. Carl even tries to get rid of Bilbo's company, but ultimately agrees to help him take an orphaned baby dinosaur back to his group, on the condition that he will leave him alone afterwards.
