The story of Ethel Cain
Ethel Cain grows up in a strict religious household in the American South. Feeling trapped by her upbringing, she runs away in search of freedom and love, only to encounter violence, heartbreak, and ultimately a horrific fate. The story unfolds as Ethel falls into a dangerous relationship with a man who initially offers her an escape but ultimately leads to her downfall. She experiences fleeting moments of romance and adventure before the story takes a dark turn—she is eventually kidnapped, murdered, and even cannibalized by the man she trusted.
