Synopsis

New Year's Eve, 1994. After an explosion from the deep, the behemoth cruise ship Triton capsizes with thousands aboard. A comedy of errors and a series of unfortunate events ensues as a group of them tries to escape from the ballroom - some of them are scared, some of them are brave, half of them just lunatics. Some could live, most will die. Who will survive?

The second main character and protagonist of the story, Derek is an Australian man who volunteers to be the singer for the New Years' Party. He's quite the hot-head though, and seems to be pretty boring at parties. Still, his heart is in the right place.
