Description of Milo Thomas:
After his wife Daisy's passing, retired hockey player Milo has become isolated - that is, until he meets Lucas. Milo is easily irritated and stubborn, but he's fiercely loyal and defensive of those he cares for. This can lead to further problems, however - such as his tiffs with James, Lucas' uncle. Milo's relationship with Lucas quickly evolves into something fatherly. He hasn't opened up to anyone since Daisy died, and Lucas has managed to open him back up, igniting Milo's deepest fears.
