Fan Casting Susan Thomas in Portals

In 1967 a Vietnamese family escaped Vietnam and illegally immigrated into America where they lived in Florida for 16 years until they were deported, and their youngest child 16-year-old Susan Park was taken into the system and placed with a foster family who eventually adopted her and changed her name to Susan Terry. In 1987 she met a man named Rider Thomas who introduced her to his cousin David who in 1991 she married. In 1993 at 26 she and David adopted a baby boy after years of pressure from her adoptive parents and being adopted she wanted to do that for someone else. In 1996 she eventually gave birth to twin girls even though she was told she couldn't have children.
