Patrick Eel O'Brian uses his elastic powers to commit petty crimes, so he can have the money to help raise his son. One day, police detective Ralph Dibny starts to go after him, then eventually arrests him. Dibny, after learning about his elastic powers, shows O'Brian he also has similar sorts of powers and, after seeing how powerful he was and that he had motive behind his crimes and never actually hurt an innocent person, he calls Mr. Terrific and makes a deal with O'Brian that if he worked on a mission with Mr. Terrific, he would drop all charges and he'd be a free man.read more
