The Manticore / Dr. Thorn is one of the most dangerous monsters of Greek Mythology. Unlike the other monsters; he speaks, and in Percy Jackson & The Olympians he speaks with a French accent. He is part lion / part scorpion / part dragon. He was banished to Persia and felt like he wasn’t feared enough as a monster. He can fly, and eject venom through his tail and shoot spikes from said tail. In The Titan’s Curse he works for The General Atlas; he tries to kill Percy, Grover , Annabeth, Thalia , Zoe, and The DiAnengelos but was beaten by Artemis and then killed by Dionysus. He wants to be feared, but it’s tough to take him seriously with his French accent and how many times he fails
