There were TWO! Caroline and Jason were having a scandalous affair behind the scenes, due to Jason wanting to climb the social ladder in Hollywood. Maria catches wind of this and threatens to expose them. Little does she know, they were plotting behind the scenes to poison her drink so she won't spill. But, in a strange twist, Vincent takes said drink and dies from the poison, being the wrong victim.
