Apostle of the Gentiles
In the 1st century AD, Saul is a Pharisee that persecutes the followers of Jesus thinking that they are rebelling against the Torah, and persecutes them to the city of Damascus. Still, Jesus appears to Saul and chooses him as his messenger outside Judea.
