Barry Allen was 11 years old when his mother was killed in a bizarre and terrifying incident and his father was falsely convicted of the murder. With his life changed forever by the tragedy, Barry was in and out of the foster system. When he turned 21 he got his job as a CSI along side his Best friend Julio Mendez. One night while working a case, a ball of lightning crashed through the window and struck Barry. Barry woke up 9 months later and found he could run at the speed of sound. With S.T.A.R Labs Scientist Avery ho and Julio, running test on Barry they realize he can do a lot more than just Run fast.
