Synopsis

It is the year 5001 A.D., and three nuclear waste exhaust silos explode and rip the Earth and Moon from their orbit around the Sun and towards a wormhole, hurling them both into Outer Space never to return home. The project follows the peoples (whether they be human, alien or machine), animals and plants of Earth trying to survive, as Earth (now christened Earth One) roams the universe to confront all that the Universe can possibly throw at them.

Description of Bobby (Scott's Nephew):

The nephew of Col. Scott, Michael promised to take care of Bobby after his real parents died after the holocaust swept over Earth. Bobby has a dog that means a whole lot to him, and his name is Sprinter, who can even perform big miracles that can save the fleet and Bobby.
