Dr. Bridget Fields is Max’s boss and senior scientist at the institution. Fields was another suspect in Evelyn’s deaths. When Max discovered the multiverse, Fields was protective over the discovery like it was her own, and threatened Max with danger to his family if he did not allow her to have some form of ownership. As a result, Fields also became a suspect for Black Magic, yet Black Magic killed Fields in pursuit of Evelyn in one universe, and Max and Harvey ruled out the possibility. Fields is an older woman in her 50s and whilst she be fierce and controlling, she does have a passion about science. However, Black Magic murders her midway through the film in an early attack on Evelyn.
