After the events of Infinity War about Nova Corps members are killed in action by the mad titan Thanos. The last surviving member of the Nova Corp, Rhomann Dey, transmits his powers into a New York High-Schooler Kid Sam Alexander discovers a cosmic black helmet and dying person named is Richard Rider also a original nova that turns out to be a Nova Corps helmet that his missing father owned. With this, he's propelled into Sam's search as the two end up realizing a much deeper conspiracy that threatens to tear apart everything that Xandar stands for, Sam with no knowledge of Nova's past, learns to use his abilities and become a superhero.
