A pair of comic book nerds who were mutated into a bat and a mosquito by Old Hob. Believing that they were turned into superheroes, Wingnut and Screwloose became a dynamic duo fighting injustice in New York. Due to his larger size, Wingnut does most of the fighting while Screwloose performs surveillance because of how small he is. When not fighting, the two of them get up to their usual comic book debates.
