Mutants: Into the Negative Zone is a 2007 American Superhero film based on the Marvel Comics teams Fantastic Four and X-Men. It is the seventh film in the Perfect Marvel Universe (PMU) and was directed by Gore Verbinski and written by Simon Kinberg, Zak Penn and Brad Bird. The film stars Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Famke Janssen, James Marsden, Kelsey Grammer, Anna Paquin, Taylor Kitsch, Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Pine, Michael Chiklis, Patrick Stewart, Kerry Washington and Keith David. The film shows the space demon, Annihilus, launching an invasion to conquer earth. The X-Men and Fantastic Four team up to battle the threat.
