Set before events of The Lion King II unfold, Rafiki tells Kiara, Timon and Pumbaa the story of how her grandfather Mufasa became the greatest king of the pridelands and how his family adopted an angsty lion cub called Taka, who would name himself Scar over an incident he caused.
