Dae-Hyun is the younger brother of Seulgi. Seulgi had joined fsociety in order to help erase the debt which could help her family. However, things go wrong for him after Seulgi and Mobley and framed as terrorists by the Dark Army who caused 5/9 and the cyberbombings. Dae-Hyun struggles to cope with the loss of his older sister but he sees Min Joon apologising to his family and reassuring them that their daughter was innocent before he goes on to kill himself, but Dae-Hyun bonds with him and prevents him from committing suicide. Dae-Hyun is revealed to be born in Incheon, which is also how Seulgi got her hacker handle from due to the care she had for Dae-Hyun.
