In Season 2, Eui, a lesbian NIS agent, joins the investigation of the 5/9 hack carried out by fsociety. She suspects that Cho Dong-Yul is the true mastermind behind the hack and begins to suspect that the Dark Army, who is believed to be associated with fsociety, and their leader, Whiterose, may be pulling the strings behind the scenes. Determined to expose them, Eui takes on Kang Jae-Hwa as a target after they both survive a shootout where Jae-Hwa's boyfriend is silenced by a Dark Army soldier.
