Three years ago, Rani survived a plane crash while serving in the military, losing her friends and everything she had held dear. Three years later, she is alive, but just barely, lost, broken, still trying to pick up the pieces and move on from what happened, looking for a reason to live. She finds a thankless dead-end job as a security guard at a strip mall in a seedy part of town, when all hell breaks loose. The world as she knew it is falling apart, and things would never be the same. She finds a group of strangers and they band together as she tries to rediscover her will to live amid this hellish new existence thrust upon her.
