After the defeat of Havik, Lord Liu Kang's line seemed to return to normal, until a new, darker and more powerful enemy appears but with them bringing many fighters from another world. Fighters from the Mortal Tournament and the Ultratech Tournament must unleash their deadly instincts if they want to survive, forming new alliances and rivalries in the process.
